Pastor Jason Drapeau

Pastor Jason is originally from Bloomington, MN—home of the famous “Mall of America,” one of the largest retail malls in the world (where he has admittedly wasted many days there as a teenager!).  He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University in Secondary Education: Mathematics.  Pastor Jason was formerly a public high school math teacher in urban school districts in Williamsport, PA and Everett, MA, where he was blessed to take part in a high school Accreditation Committee, and served on a think-tank for a textbook publisher.  He received his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Boston, MA with an emphasis in Urban Ministry.  He enjoys watching and playing sports, attempting manageable home improvement projects (of which he often needs much prayer and help to complete!), and spending time with his family.  Pastor Jason has been overjoyed to serve as the Senior Pastor of Winchester Community Church since November, 2011.  He also has been involved with other outreach opportunities and community programs in West Seneca, including the honor of being one of the Chaplains of the Winchester Volunteer Fire Company, a Co-Convener of the West Seneca Community of Churches, and an Assistant Coach in the West Seneca Youth Baseball Association.  He is additionally an aspiring author, currently working on a biblical, anecdotal, and practical book about relational reconciliation, following the publication of an accompanying theological journal article (available here).  He lives in West Seneca, NY with his wonderful wife, Val, and their four fantastic children: Caleb, Rachel, Emma, and Lily.
